Description:
This group of ponds is located east of the upper Sanctuary River, about 9 km upstream from the Sanctuary River bridge on the Park Road. Look closely at this photo pair and notice how the water level in some ponds have shrunk, while the level in others seem to have grown. Do you see evidence that water flows freely between the ponds? What physical or biotic factors could be at play to change the hydrology of this site?
