This is a photo of the George Parks highway and the private McKinley Village airstrip, seven miles south of the Denali Park and Preserve entrance. In the lower right you can see a bend in the Nenana River with a large cut-bank above it. Changes in land ownership, access, and the local economy likely have influenced development in this area.
