Description:
This photo pair features what was once the kitchen and dining hall for Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) members, and now serves as a recreation center for seasonal park service employees living in what is called "C-Camp" in reference to the CCC. CCC members were instrumental in park development during the summers of 1938 and 1939, constructing numerous buildings in the headquarters area and the Wonder Lake Ranger Station among other projects.
