This pair of images shows a selection of lakes near Corner Lake in the western lowlands of Denali. Little change is visible in this photo pair, which was taken at a fairly high altitude. Detecting change is very dependent on the scale that you are using. For example, the meadow connecting the square lake in the background with the pond at the upper left margin of the image is one of our other photo pairs - one in which you can see several changes in the vegetation relating to thermokarst in the meadow (Type "thermokarst" into the Search photo pairs box to see the photo pair). At this larger scale and higher altitude, however, such changes are not visible.
